Ferrari’s Nico Hulsing was left in no doubt by his first taste of the new Mercedes-Benz C63 after he drove the new car in practice on Tuesday.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever driven it,” he said.
“The car is really good.
The handling is really, really good.”
Hulsenberg was joined by Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa who said he was impressed by the car’s performance.
“You don’t really see any other car out there with such good balance and stability,” he added.
The new C63 has also received a new roof, new suspension, more power and more interior space.
Hulenberg said he liked the new layout because it gave him more room to work with.
“I liked the way the cabin felt with the windows closed,” he explained.
“That’s not to say I’m a big fan of open seats, but that’s what I liked.”
Massa was also impressed by Mercedes’ new cabin layout.
“For me, it was nice to have a seat that’s a little bit more open,” he continued.
Hulsinger also said he would not mind driving a Mercedes-Amg GT for a while. “
When you put it in a car like this, you need to be able to open the door as much as possible, and that’s exactly what this car does.”
Hulsinger also said he would not mind driving a Mercedes-Amg GT for a while.
“Yes, of course, I’ll be happy,” he concluded.
So far, I think the car is great.”
